Couldn’t have said it better myself…

At the minute, I’m looking for new places to find inspiration for my photography and ways to include their influence within my work. I’ve found some really good quotes which remind me of why I fell in love with photography in the first place, and over the next few months I’ll be sharing them all with you…

“If I could tell the story in words, I wouldn’t need to lug around a camera” – Lewis Hine

“The Earth is Art, The Photographer is only a Witness” – Yann Arthus-Bertrand

“One photo out of focus is a mistake, ten photos out of focus are an experimentation, one hundred photos out of focus are a style” – Unknown

“Your first 10,000 photographs are your worst” – Henri Cartier-Bresson

“Everything has beauty, but not everyone sees it” – Confucius

“Twelve significant photographs in any one year is a good crop” – Ansel Adams

“I have discovered photography. Now I can kill myself. I have nothing else to learn” – Pablo Picasso

“There will be times when you will be in the field without a camera. And, you will see the most glorious sunset or the most beautiful scene that you have ever witnessed. Don’t be bitter because you can’t record it. Sit down, drink it in, and enjoy it for what it is” – DeGriff

“If you own an oven it does not make you a top chef. Likewise, if you own a camera, it does not make you a professional photographer” – Giles Christopher

“There are no rules for good photographs, there are only good photographs” – Ansel Adams
